Diane Mehta is a poet and essayist in Brooklyn. Recent work is in the NYTBR, the Paris Review Daily, The Literary Review, Prairie Schooner, the Believer, BOMB, and Foreign Policy. She has a small book about poetry, and is currently finishing a historical novel about a mixed-race Jewish-Jain couple set in 1946 Bombay .
